The stepwise path integral of the relativistic point particle
In this paper we present a stepwise construction of the path integral over
relativistic orbits in Euclidean spacetime. It is shown that the apparent
problems of this path integral, like the breakdown of the naive
Chapman-Kolmogorov relation, can be solved by a careful analysis of the
overcounting associated with local and global symmetries. Based on this, the
direct calculation of the quantum propagator of the relativistic point particle
in the path integral formulation results from a simple and purely geometric
construction.Comment: 10 pages, 5 figure
Ceramic in the graphic and pictorical works of Murillo
Through this written communication we pretend to offer an overview of the vast
work of Bartolomé Esteban Murillo (1617/1682), concretely those where the artist
represents ceramic objects. We analyze the terminology used in our text in a first section.
In the second one we examine those Murillo's works where the artist shows ceramic
objects
Domingo Martínez: a new addition to his catalogue. Precisions on its iconography
A series of artworks are emerging in the art market in the last years after being dispossessed
from its original location to private hands. We introduce in this paper a painting signed by the Sevillian artist Domingo Martínez, which has not been included in his catalogue until now. The origin of
the work, possibly linked to the San Francisco Convent, will be discussed in the same way as iconography and doctrinal message
